The Ngunduh Mantu party of Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise held on Thursday (19/6/2025) at JCC Senayan will be the peak of a luxurious wedding series themed around Javanese culture. Ahmad Dhani, as the father of the groom, assures that this event will feature a grand display of art and music, with a strong cultural touch. Here are the details.
The event will be opened with a guest reception featuring a Reog performance, gamelan, and traditional dance from the Keraton dancers. According to Ahmad Dhani, a total of 20 dancers from the Keraton will be involved in the performance that night.
"Yes, the guests are welcomed with Reog. Here we have gamelan, karawitan, 20 dancers from the Keraton," said Dhani when met at JCC, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (17/6/2025).
Other traditional dances will also be performed, including a showcase from Solo dancers. While the element of wayang will not be presented, Dhani ensures that the artistic presentation remains strong with the nuances of Central and East Javanese culture. "There will be traditional dances, and there will also be Reog," he briefly stated.
Equally interesting is the performance of Dewa 19 which will entertain the invited guests. Ahmad Dhani mentioned that all members of Dewa will perform in traditional Javanese attire, in line with the wedding theme. "All members of Dewa will wear Javanese clothing," he revealed.
This legendary music group will perform a selection of songs. According to Dhani, there are five singers who will perform alongside Dewa 19, including Reza Artamevia and Anindya as other performers. "Dewa has five singers. There is Reza Artamevia. There is Anindya," he explained.
When asked about compensation for the performers, Dhani emphasized that everyone is paid professionally. "Professional," he asserted.
The entertainment stage will stand alongside the wedding stage, and the show is scheduled to take place from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM WIB. This music and cultural arts performance is sure to be the main highlight amidst the grandeur of the wedding, which is claimed to be the most extravagant wedding by Ahmad Dhani. "The Dewa stage is right there, this is the wedding stage," he said.
