"In the beginning, I had short hair when we first met, but as time went on, he understood that women are meant to have long hair, or something like that," said Dewi Gita when met in the Pondok Indah area recently.
"So when my hair was long, he was comfortable, he was happy. Suddenly I went back to the dating days, I don’t know," she continued.
Although it surprised everyone, Dewi Gita's new hairstyle is still enjoyed by her husband. Armand is said to be comfortable with her long hair all this time, but he has never forbidden her from wanting to look different. This haircut has also become a moment for Dewi to reflect on her teenage years.
When asked about other reasons behind her new hair, Dewi Gita assured that it is not due to any particular issue. The desire to reminisce about the early days of her career is her main motivation.Â
"There's nothing really, I just want to flashback, remembering my teenage years when I had short hair. In the beginning of my career, I also had a bob. So I just want to reflect more. But yeah, many people like it and many don’t. Just enjoy it, the important thing is that we are happy," she expressed.
With a fresher haircut, this singer seems to want to bring a new vibe in the coming year. Dewi also joked about her new look in 2025.Â
"God willing. A new appearance, but let’s not have everything else be new. The husband should still be the old one, right? No way. God forbid, hehehe," she said while laughing.
