After succeeding in the acting world, Herjunot Ali is now enjoying his career as a DJ. He revealed that this new profession offers greater financial benefits compared to when he was acting in films.

"Definitely earning more as a DJ," said Herjunot when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, recently. Here are the details.

Herjunot's decision to focus on the music world is not without reason. The man born in 1985 feels that being a DJ gives him the freedom to continue creating without being tied to a very tight schedule.

"Because I really don't act in films anymore. Basically, I'm just focusing on being a DJ right now. I'm just doing what's available," he explained.

Herjunot also emphasizes that he has never had an issue if the audience chooses to enjoy another DJ. For him, the most important thing is to give the best for his fans.

"There's no difference. If people want to come enjoy the music I'm playing, I'm grateful. But if they want to come see another DJ, that's fine too," he stated.

Interestingly, Herjunot started his career as a DJ long before his name became widely known in the film industry. He claims to have been in this profession since 2008. "Actually, people know that I started DJing in 2024, but the truth is I have been DJing since 2008," he said.

Currently, Herjunot feels comfortable with his career journey in the music world. He hopes to continue his profession for several more years. "So I hope that by the time I turn 50, I might be DJing again," said Herjunot.

Herjunot also does not hesitate to compare himself with other artists known for their high earnings. "The one who can beat me is definitely Raffi Ahmad," he said with a laugh.
