Soimah with her humble attitude once again captures attention as she shares the 'rewang manten' activities at her relative's house. Directly involved in stirring spices, she shows the busy atmosphere in the kitchen with full of laughter. Here are the photos.
Participating in village activities, Soimah shows the down-to-earth side commonly practiced by Javanese people during celebrations, known as Rewang.
In her Youtube channel on June 4, 2025, Soimah showcased the rewang manten, which means the communal activity of helping to cook in the kitchen by women during a wedding in Java.
Cooking while sitting down, Soimah did not hesitate to join in the lively chatter of the women while joking and laughing. The sense of harmony and togetherness was very palpable.
"Instead of helping, I'm just causing a fuss," said Soimah with a chuckle as she spent more time eating than helping to cook. This made the women laugh in understanding.
After cooking fried vermicelli, some of the seasonings of which she had sautéed, Soimah took a plate and tasted it. Although it was a bit hot, she admitted that her cooking was delicious.
Soimah appeared relaxed and friendly mingling with other mothers, helping to prepare the dishes even though she claimed she was just pretending to help.
While wiping the plates that had been washed before being used to serve food, Soimah admitted she liked the kitchen table behind her because it felt comfortable with a strong rural vibe. It's no wonder she is always referred to as low profile.
