A few days ago, Citra Kirana's son was admitted to the hospital. Previously, he had been taken to the doctor and it was decided that he needed to be hospitalized for 2 days.Â
Athar indeed needed to be hospitalized because his bilirubin levels were high. This caused his skin and eyes to turn yellow. This is common in babies and is indeed dangerous.
On the first day of hospitalization, Athar cried continuously. He refused to be placed in an incubator. Ciki herself panicked and cried. On the second day, they all started to calm down and Athar was willing to be placed in the incubator.
After blood tests confirmed that his bilirubin levels were back to normal, Athar was finally allowed to go home. Those nerve-wracking days are finally over.
At home, Athar's skin is no longer yellow. His skin is now a normal pink color like most babies. However, he tends to have more eye discharge. Ciki has had to clean his eyes several times.Â
According to the doctor, this eye discharge is normal. Yes, Athar spends his days happily with Ciki and Rezky at home. He even looks comfortable in his father's arms.
His crying gets louder when he poops. Ciki herself also mentioned how strong her son is when breastfeeding. Just a moment after being breastfed, he asks for milk again. Oh, so adorable!
