The 2022 Indonesian Film Festival is the 42nd edition of the festival, where actors, actresses, and people behind the scenes of a film will be appreciated.

The event, organized by the Indonesian Film Board and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, is highly anticipated by many. This is because all fields have just recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic, including the Indonesian film industry.

In anticipation of the event, which will be held on November 22, 2022, several actresses who were chosen as the Ambassadors of FFI announced the nominations for the Citra Awards at the 2022 Indonesian Film Festival, which were read directly from the Borobudur Temple.
