For years, Kerispatih has been synonymous with Sammy Simorangkir as the vocalist. Unfortunately, Sammy was involved in a drug case and had to be replaced. However, who would have thought that the frontman of Kerispatih, Doadibadai Hollo or Badai, had received death threats because of the vocalist change.

Through the Youtube channel of Abdel Achrian, Badai mentioned that the vocalist change from Sammy to Fandy had caused him some problems.
"Back then, I apologize, I once received death threats," he said to Cing Abdel.
Although often terrorized, Badai only considers it as usual, even though at that time he received extraordinary ridicule from the fans.
"I was cursed by mothers at the supermarket because of changing vocalists. I was threatened by dark fans, my car was followed when I left the studio, all because of that," he said.
Badai himself considers it as part of the risks he has to face as a band member.
"If I bear small problems, it's not the leader's duty. I have to bear big problems and that severe," he said.
However, he is grateful because Fandy is finally accepted by the community and Kerispatih continues to perform as usual.
