7 Portraits of Nikita Mirzani Criticizing Reza's Absence and Highlighting the Opposing Lawyer Who is Considered to Not Understand the Lawsuit

The continuation of the civil case between Nikita Mirzani and Reza Gladys was held again at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (7/8/2025). In this session, the mediation agenda, which was supposed to be a resolution effort, was declared a failure due to Reza's absence.

Nikita confirmed the failure of the mediation process immediately after leaving the courtroom. She expressed disappointment over Reza's absence and assessed that the opposing party was not taking this matter seriously. Here are the details.

"The mediation results did not go well because Reza himself was absent, which he was supposed to be required to attend, and his lawyer also couldn't explain what the default was. It's just going in circles, well, you know, he's already old," said Nikita after the trial, Tuesday (7/8/2025).

Not only that, Nikita also highlighted the performance of Reza's legal team, which is considered unable to provide clear answers regarding the breach of contract lawsuit filed. She believes mediation should be a space for mutual clarification, not just showing confusion.

"Earlier I was asked by his lawyer who just kept talking, I asked about the meaning of Reza's WhatsApp to Mail. ‘Mail, please remind before one year is extended’ he couldn't answer. So you interpret it yourself. As for me, well, I've already been detained. Just wait for the facts in court," she said.

Nikita's statement was also supported by her lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, who also feels disappointed with the attitude of the defendant. "The mediation failed because according to the conversation with Ismail Marzuki, there was an agreement or deal, there were two offers made in November, and that’s what we conveyed and that’s what we tested," said Fahmi.

Fahmi explained that his side has submitted evidence in the form of conversation contents and agreements that had previously occurred. However, the response from Reza's side, according to him, does not reflect a good understanding of the law.

"We request that it be recognized as part of the existing agreement, but it seems they do not understand the lawsuit we filed. In the end, it became a deadlock, so the next agenda is the reading of the lawsuit," said Fahmi.

With mediation ending without an agreement, the next hearing will enter the stage of reading the lawsuit from the plaintiff. Nikita emphasized that she will continue to follow all legal processes patiently despite feeling disappointed over the failure of this mediation. "Well, I guess it's done, I've been detained too. Just wait for the facts in court as they are," said Nikita.
