In commemoration of his 35th birthday, the vocalist of the band D'Masiv, Rian Ekky Pradipta celebrated it in a different way. He took to the streets with a notice board and offered free bread to passing riders on Jalan Ciledug Raya, Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday afternoon (30/11/2021).

As a result, not only passing riders took advantage of the opportunity. Local residents also flocked to get free toast bread.
"Alhamdulillah this month is an extraordinary month. Besides my birthday, my wife's birthday, my younger brother's birthday, D'Masiv's birthday too. Alhamdulillah we have also had many performances. That's why today I can finally organize a charity event to celebrate birthdays in November and share happiness," said Rian.
Rian admitted that he has his own reasons for choosing to celebrate his 35th birthday by giving away free bread in the Ciledug area, Tangerang, Banten. According to Rian, that area holds an important story in his life journey.
"This street has a story, I grew up here, I used to busk here. Alhamdulillah, now I have the fortune that I have. So I want to retrace my steps and share with the community around here, this event also reminds me and reminds me of the past and the struggles I had," he said.
This father of two children admitted to being touched seeing many online motorcycle taxi drivers enthusiastic about getting free toast. He felt happy seeing their joy.
"I was also surprised to see the motorcycle taxi drivers who usually buy for others now get to experience it. That touched me. There were also some parents who usually just pass by here and now they can also experience it. It's fun to see them happy," he said.
According to Rian, this year is the first time for him to celebrate his birthday by giving out free toast. "This concept is new, just came up with it now. Previously, I used to have a standard event with family and a special party with friends," he said.
