"I still sing, but when my husband says 'let's go back to Bali', I have to go home whether I like it or not, and later if there's an off-air event I have to return again," said Uut when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (11/2/2025).
Although she spends more time at home, Uut is grateful because since marrying in 2015, her husband still allows her to continue singing. She tries to fulfill her role as a wife well without forgetting her household duties.
According to her, her husband is the leader in their household, so she chooses to follow every request from her husband. In fact, return tickets are always prepared so she can go back home anytime.
"Because my husband is my leader, so if there’s an order to turn back, meaning to go home, I will go home, and the return ticket has also been prepared," she said.
"I am very grateful since the first time we got married in 2015, my husband still allows me to pursue my singing career, but as a wife, I should not forget my duties to take care of the household, the children, everything, I prepare everything," she revealed.
Uut also shared that lately she feels increasingly pampered by her husband. She admitted that her husband is now more romantic and always wants to be near her. "With my husband, I don't know why he's so clingy now, wherever I go, he's there to take me, like yesterday I went to Jakarta, 'I want to go to Jakarta too,' while checking on the house," she said.
In fact, her husband often asks Uut not to stay too long in Jakarta. "I don't know why, but I feel like I'm being pampered more now, basically at the beginning of this year, I've received many blessings, and now the level of romance has become very high, he even says, 'Honey, don't stay too long in Jakarta, come back quickly,'" she concluded.
