The Indonesian music industry has lost a legendary singer, Jhonny Iskandar, at the age of 64. On Friday (10/5/2024), Jhonny Iskandar was buried in the family cemetery located near his house in Sentul, Bogor, West Java. Jhonny Iskandar's wife, Nurhayati, also accompanied her beloved husband to his final resting place. She has been crying since before the body was buried.

"Father, oh Allah father," said Nurhayati in the Sentul Bogor area, West Java, on Friday (10/5/2024).
The funeral procession was emotional. In addition to family, a series of friends and members of the Orkes Moral Pengantar Minum Racun (OM PMR) also accompanied Jhonny Iskandar to his final resting place.
Jhonny Iskandar's funeral ended with the scattering of flowers and prayer readings. According to Jhonny Iskandar's daughter, Saidah Iskandariah, her father passed away so suddenly because he did not complain of illness.
"The chronology is actually that my father wasn't sick at all. But this morning at 7 o'clock, he complained of difficulty breathing, so my younger sibling woke me up. Then we panicked and immediately went to the hospital, which is called Helsa Hospital," said Saidah.
"He was referred to Cikaret Hospital again, and there was no longer our father there. So he wasn't really sick, it was like difficulty breathing, and he was immediately taken to the emergency room. But in the emergency room, he couldn't be helped anymore," concluded Saidah.
