Kasiman, also known as Salman A Farisi or his role as Koh Ahong in the soap opera SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN, passed away on Tuesday (13/6). Koh Ahong passed away at the age of 68, leaving behind his wife named Santi and three children as well as five grandchildren.

Perhaps not many people know that one of Koh Ahong's children named Mery Kasiman (wearing glasses) is a talented pianist.

Mery Kasiman is a member of the band Potret along with Melly Goeslaw, Anto Hoed, Nikita Dompas, and Aksan Sjuman.

This was mentioned by Rano Karno to the media at the funeral. “This is his daughter (Koh Ahong) who plays piano with Melly Goeslaw,” said Rano Karno.

Several of Mery's musician friends were also seen coming to pay their respects at the funeral home, including the band Maliq & D'Essentials.

Meanwhile, at the funeral, Mery seemed to have come to terms with the loss of her beloved father. She also faithfully accompanied her mother by her side.

During an interview with the media, Mery also talked about her hardworking father. “He was definitely hardworking. Since we were little, we rarely saw our parents actually take a day off (from work). One thing that I learned a lot from them is that they are hardworking and tenacious,” said Mery Kasiman.

There is also one message from her father that she always remembers. The message even became one of her life guidelines.

"There is one message from my dad that I actually hold onto until now. If we want to do something, he always says, 'If others can do it, why can't you? Everyone eats rice the same way,'" said Mery Kasiman.
