After a four-year hiatus from acting, Bunga Citra Lestari returned to the big screen. She is involved in a romantic comedy adaptation of the Webtoon comic titled PASUTRI GAJE.

Bunga Citra Lestari admitted that the character Adelia, which she played, was quite challenging. She had to make many changes within herself.
"I changed my hair and lost weight for this film. As for the physical aspect, it's actually easy, but what's difficult is how to playfully and fun at this mature age, like in your twenties," said BCL.
"How do you make yourself younger while carrying more life burdens? Let's go back to our twenties, how they think, what they dream of," she continued.
To return to acting, Bunga Citra Lestari received full support from her son named Noah Sinclair. Even her son was enthusiastic when he found out his mother was acting in a movie again.
"Noah already knows. My child is now grown up and he is also excited that I am returning to the film. This is a sign that I am moving one step forward. I am brave enough to take on a film and commit," said Bunga.
In addition to her only child, the person who ultimately convinced BCL to return to acting was Reza Rahadian. Because she was paired with Reza, she agreed to do it.
As a close friend, it was Reza who convinced her to join this project. BCL revealed that it was also because of Reza that she could regain her confidence.
"Fortunately, I'm playing with Reza here. We already have chemistry, we are close friends outside of the film, we communicate a lot, so this helps me believe in myself even more," concluded Bunga.
