Haji Faisal also accompanied his son, Fuji, to provide additional information to the investigators regarding the alleged embezzlement case of Rp 1.3 billion committed by Batara Ageng. The perpetrator who had committed the criminal act was a former manager of Fuji.
Haji Faisal himself admitted to knowing Batara, who had been a manager at Fuji for quite some time.
When the case was first revealed, Haji Faisal still remembers when Batara sent him a summons for answering questions about this case.
Haji Faisal is grateful that what he said was the truth and Batara himself is currently detained. If he were to meet again with the former manager of Fuji, Haji Faisal would convey this.
"I just want my losses to be recovered, that's what I want. If my child suffers losses, it's my own losses," said Haji Faisal at the West Jakarta Metro Police, recently.
"But if he doesn't return it, then of course the law must be involved. Who wants to? I don't want to be oppressed either. You all have children and parents, how about the burden?" Haji Faisal continued.
From the beginning, Haji Faisal and his family never intended to bring this issue to the authorities. Of course, Haji Faisal wants his child's money to be returned.
"From the beginning, our goal was to have our money, our losses, replaced. We don't actually want to oppress others because of us. We thought that because he himself embezzled our money, the only way is to report it to the law," he said.
As a reminder, the police arrested Batara Ageng alias BA, a former manager of Fuji, on suspicion of embezzling Rp1.3 billion. In fact, BA has been detained in connection with this case since June 29, 2024.
For his alleged embezzlement of Rp1.3 billion belonging to Fuji, BA is charged under articles 374 and/or 372 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 5 years imprisonment. Â
