8 Portraits of Dian Sastrowardoyo's Fun Reunion with Friends and Teachers in High School

Dian Sastrowardoyo captured a cool moment while participating in the famous reunion of Tarakanita I High School, also known as Tarki. This is a Catholic all-girls school located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

As known, Dian Sastro is a convert to Islam, so it's no wonder she once gained knowledge in a Catholic school. Here are some moments of Dian meeting her friends.

Something interesting caught my attention, apparently Dian not only met with her school friends. But, Dian captured the moment of meeting with her former teachers.

One of them is Pak Mayan, who used to be Dian's coolest Indonesian language teacher. From him, Dian started to love reading and learned about many great Indonesian literary works other than Chairil Anwar.

"Pak Mayan was also our supervising teacher for the organizing committee of our school's farewell event. We all learned to become event organizers for music performances since high school," wrote Dian Sastrowardoyo.

Next, Dian captured a moment of taking a photo with her most killer History teacher, known as bu Kus. Dian looked very happy, after years and years, she could reminisce about the past trips during her high school days.

"Thank you, mother, for your patience in teaching us. Because of you, we know everything from Meganthropus Paleojavanicus to Pithecantropus Erectus. From the Singasari Kingdom to Mataram Islam. From Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi to Brawidjaya V," wrote Dian Sastrowardoyo.

"Thank you, Mr. Mayan, and the teachers who have educated us to become strong women. I feel very proud to be an alumna of Tarki, whose character is resilient and confident, not easily giving up. Thank you, fathers and mothers, thank you to my alma mater Tarakanita," she continued.
