Fifi reminisces, 35 years ago she and DG met for the first time. At that time, she was only 21 years old. Fifi had no idea that her soulmate had been prepared by God since that day.

"35 years ago I was still a student at UI. DG? The diplomat's son who was my younger brother Harry's English tutor. We were introduced. But at that time I already had a boyfriend. So we were just friends," Fifi revealed.

"Every time DG asked my brother about my condition... I was in a relationship. When I was single, DG was in a relationship. It just went on like that. Until time passed by," she continued.

"But God knows the story that He is writing. Our families once had dinner together at my house in Muara Karang, there’s a photo of it! We even all went to the airport to send my brother off when he was going to school in Switzerland. DG and I even took a photo together at that time. All those moments were captured, but we didn’t understand it yet," added Fifi.

They were just friends until two years ago. Their relationship grew closer and to make a long story short, they eventually got married.

Fifi was seen accompanied by Ahok heading to the altar. She walked with a slight limp. Apparently, a few days before the wedding, she fell into a river and sprained her ankle. The doctor advised her to use a wheelchair, but Fifi chose to walk on her wedding day.

"I sprained my ankle on the 21st, got married on the 25th. My foot was still swollen and the doctor's advice was to rest and use a wheelchair! But on the big day, I still chose to walk, didn’t want to be in a wheelchair. We all prayed for a miracle! Thank God for Koko Ahok who patiently guided me and strongly supported my steps to the altar," she explained.
