RINDU BUKAN RINDU takes place in the beauty of the cherry blossom country. The beauty perfectly envelops the romance and conflicts presented between Rindu, Devan, Erel, and Suci.
RINDU BUKAN RINDU begins with the harmonious relationship between Rindu (Ochi Rosdiana) and Devan (Junior Roberts). Devan intends to propose to Rindu, which is happily welcomed by Rianti (Vonny Cornelia), Rindu's mother.
Devan himself is the second child of Lukman (Teuku Ryan), a successful businessman who has an older brother named Erel (Cinta Brian), a young successful architect but has to live in sadness with his child after losing his beloved wife, Suci (Haico Van Der Veken). Rindu is invited by Devan to meet his family in Japan.
Without Devan knowing, there is a girl named Kasih (Esta Pramanita) who secretly has feelings for Devan. Kasih's mother, Nancy (Kaemita Boediono), also has a desire for Kasih to be paired with Devan.
