Actress Kiki Fatmala had previously announced that she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The WARKOP DKI film player couldn't contain her sadness when she talked about her struggle against lung cancer.

When interviewed by KapanLagi.com on Thursday (10/11), Kiki explained that she would cry every time she remembered or talked about her battle against cancer.

"I don't know, every time I talk about the pain, I feel like crying. I am very grateful to be here now, like this, it is because of God's help," said Kiki Fatmala in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Thursday (10/11/2022).

The 53-year-old woman still remembers when she was undergoing lung cancer chemotherapy. At that time, Kiki Fatmala was with several other people who were also undergoing chemotherapy. However, fate had a different plan, as some of the people who underwent chemotherapy with her passed away.

"I asked the doctor, 'What about that person, doctor?' 'Oh, he has passed away.' There are several people who underwent chemotherapy with me who have died. So now I am very grateful to God, I am still here because of God's goodness," said Kiki.

Kiki Fatmala received a lot of support in undergoing chemotherapy for her lung cancer. Besides her family and friends, Kiki Fatmala's husband also gives her encouragement and is always by her side.

"I will definitely recover because of God. And secondly, the medicines are good, everything is good, the best. But there also needs to be someone who supports and strengthens. I am not fighting cancer alone. I am fighting because my husband is by my side. He is the one who looks for the doctors and the medicines," she said.

Now, Kiki Fatmala's condition is much better than before. After undergoing chemotherapy 8 times, the cancer that had invaded Kiki's body has shrunk. However, Kiki is still undergoing treatment to ensure her health.

"After 8 times, the doctor said there's no need for chemotherapy anymore because the cancer has gone to sleep. My cancer has shrunk. No more chemo, but now I'm doing immunology," said Kiki Fatmala.

"There are people who have recovered and suddenly relapse, so now I'm still being monitored by the doctor. Every month I have to do immunology and every 3 months I have to do a PET scan, so they take my blood. So I'm still receiving treatment until now," concluded Kiki Fatmala.
