This time, Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina introduce a typical cuisine from Sakura, Japan called Karaage Kei. CEO/Founder of Karaage Kei, Ghaniya Kartasasmita, said that Karaage is similar to fried chicken in Indonesia.

"Karaage in Indonesia is the same as Indonesian-style fried chicken, so I hope that Karaage Kei Japan can be enjoyed for its authentic taste of Japanese karaage. So there's no need to go all the way to Japan to eat Japanese karaage because it's already available in Indonesia," said Ghaniya Kartasasmita in a press conference at Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/2).
In the same occasion, Raffi Ahmad said that Karaage Kei restaurant finally became a reality after going through a lengthy discussion process. He also mentioned how he initially became interested in being involved in this business.
"Not only is this the best karaage in Japan, but in the world, because Karaage Kei is the world champion of karaage. After discussions with the amazing team here, the first Karaage Kei store in Gandaria City mall can be opened," said Raffi Ahmad.
"Mas Ghani invited me to collaborate in finding a foreign food franchise that can be brought to Indonesia, and we chose karaage because it is the most delicious in the world after winning the championship," he continued.
In addition, Nagita Slavina, who apparently loves karaage, said that there is still no restaurant in Indonesia that truly serves delicious karaage. In fact, she is willing to travel all the way to Japan just to enjoy karaage.
But now, there is no need to go all the way to Japan because in Indonesia there is Karaage Kei that serves karaage as delicious as its home country.
