Reno's passing was announced by AHY himself on Instagram. "Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiun. Our beloved older brother, Abang Rizanno Azhar Pohan (Reno), has returned to Allah's mercy last night, July 28, 2023, at 10:00 PM," AHY wrote.
He also uploaded several photos of togetherness with the deceased. Starting from the moment of family gathering to the moment he and Annisa were about to depart for Hajj.
Reno's body was prayed at At Taqwa Sriwijaya Mosque and buried at Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery on Saturday (30/7).
The burial was accompanied by tears from the family, especially Annisa Pohan. She was seen wiping her tears several times with a veil by the graveside.
According to AHY, Reno was a good and pious person. "Bang Reno is known as a very good person, pious in his personal life, always devoted to his parents and family," he wrote.
"Since the deceased's body was laid in the house, we have not stopped receiving friends, family, and relatives who come one after another, conveying condolences, sympathy, and prayers," he added.
Reported from Kilat.com, Reno, who passed away at the age of 43, was the eldest child of Aulia Pohan and Yanni Mulyaningsih. He had previously studied at the Faculty of Law, Trisakti University.
Still reported from the same source, the late Reno was also recorded as a private employee in a company engaged in maritime transportation.
