Tedhak Siten is a Javanese traditional ceremony for a baby who has just set foot on the ground. Tedhak means descend, while siten or siti means land.
In Javanese culture, tedhak siten takes place when a child is about 8 months old. Through her social media, Yora, Nikita Willy's mother, uploaded a series of moments from the tedhak siten.
Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan were said to look beautiful and handsome at the event. They participated in the event solemnly from beginning to end.
During that moment, baby Izz's feet were washed first. Nikita Willy's mother tried to comfort baby Izz, who seemed a little tense.
After being cleaned, baby Izz underwent the ritual of stepping on colorful jadah (rice cake made from sticky rice), followed by climbing the stairs.
