8 Portraits of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur Who Will Earn a Doctorate Degree, Aims to Become a Professor in 2027

Yusuf Mansur revealed that he only has two more stages to go to obtain his Doctorate degree. "Alhamdulillah, my dissertation has already been defended, then closed and opened. Hopefully next year I will graduate," said Yusuf Mansur at Daarul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Friday (13/10/2023).

If there are no obstacles, after obtaining his Doctorate degree, Yusuf Mansur will fulfill his dream of becoming a professor. Yusuf Mansur is known as a lecturer at the Daarul Quran Institute since September 2020. He teaches the Sharia Business Management study program.

"In these five years, I have completed my Master's degree and I am at the end of my Doctorate degree. Please pray that the parallel process towards becoming a professor, a professor, goes smoothly," said Yusuf Mansur.

He aims to become a professor in 2027, right at the age of 52. "I am a person who has always had plans. If everything goes well, Insyaallah, I will pursue the goal of becoming a professor in 2027. I have started learning to write journals in order to be able to publish in Scopus and Sinta. Then in 2029, I will run for presidency," he said.

Yusuf Mansur further stated that his goal in striving to continue his education is not only to gain knowledge. He also wants to motivate others. Who wouldn't be inspired seeing Yusuf Mansur, even though he is no longer young, still caring about academics.

"This process is not for my own pride, but as an example and motivation for my students, my own children, and others. Don't oppose the world of education," said the caretaker of Ponpes Daarul Quran. "Don't think that just because you have become a government official, you don't need to go to school anymore. Don't think that just because you are wealthy, you don't need to go to college," he continued.
