"Many relatives and friends came to witness my declaration of love and my statement to take a more serious step towards the person who is by my side," said Chand Kelvin in Senopati area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/5/2024).
Chand Kelvin tells the beginning of his introduction with Dea Sahirah. The artist who is currently pursuing a master's degree admits that his relationship with Dea is inseparable from Adly Fairuz's influence.
"So six years ago, my friend Adly Fairuz introduced me. Now, Adly has a wife, and his wife was Dea's school friend when they were in kindergarten. So I was introduced, we talked and eventually connected. Alhamdulillah, until now," he said.
During the six years of their relationship, Chand Kelvin and Dea feel that they have a lot in common in interpreting life. Because of that, they agreed to take a more serious step by holding an engagement ceremony.
"We also have the same vision and mission. We interpret life in the same way. So, in the name of God, hopefully this is a good step for us to start worshiping," he said.
Interestingly, although Chand and Dea are dating, they often spend time together with other friends.
"When we go out, it's not just the two of us, but also with other friends, Dea's friends and my friends. So we all know each other, our families also know each other," said Chand Kelvin.
