The singer of the song "Demi Aku" said that the injury occurred in 2021.
"Around the end of 2021, I experienced a neck injury. This injury temporarily paralyzed my wrist," said Sheryl when met in Pondok Indah, Jakarta, on Tuesday (20/12/2022).
According to Sheryl, the injury she experienced was caused by the wrong position when playing the guitar.
"I think it's because of the wrong posture and coincidentally I play the guitar as my musical instrument. So, for friends who play the guitar, be careful to maintain your posture when playing the guitar," said the singer who often brings a guitar in every stage performance.
Of course, the neck injury she experienced greatly hindered her activities. Especially since Sheryl is a public figure with a fairly busy schedule.
However, Sheryl's neck gradually recovered and could fully heal after undergoing a series of therapies.
"I have undergone a lot of physiotherapy exercises and other treatments to heal my injured neck," she said.
