Shortly after giving birth to her first child, Roro Fitria filed for divorce from her husband, Andre Irawan. Becoming a hot topic on social media, the woman who is commonly referred to as Nyai finally spoke out. In front of the media, Roro revealed what her married life was like with the man she married on December 21, 2021.
After filing for divorce from Andre Irawan in the Religious Court through e-court, Roro Fitria finally appeared in front of the media accompanied by her legal counsel.
Found in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (16/9), the woman who is familiarly called Nyai revealed the condition of her household with the father of Baby Sulthan.
To the media, Roro admitted that her life became depressed after getting married. She even felt treated lower than a maid.
Although since getting married until now, Roro and her husband have been living in Roro's house, but she feels humiliated in her own home.
Not only that, Roro's legal counsel named Asgar Sjarfi and Andika revealed that their client also experienced verbal abuse.
Verbal domestic violence even made Roro feel traumatized and afraid to meet Andre Irawan.
"Our client is so traumatized that they are afraid to even meet. It's like having a phobia. So, meeting would be very dangerous for their safety," explained Andika, the legal representative.
Furthermore, Roro denied her husband's statement that this problem started because of his mother's illness, which prevented her from accompanying Roro during childbirth.
Roro also mentioned that her husband had been married and divorced multiple times before marrying her.
