A-Chan Member Perfume Officially Marries a Fan

Through an Instagram post that caused a stir, the 36-year-old singer shared her happiness that she is now married to a 'regular guy'.

But wait, don’t get it wrong, this husband is not just anyone! He is a close friend who knows A-Chan inside and out, and has always been the best support system for both A-Chan and Perfume. Who would have thought that this marriage also fulfills A-Chan's teenage dream of marrying a fan!

Through her writing, A-Chan also expressed some of her hopes for the future. For sure, she wants to be a superwoman filled with positive things.

"I am A-chan, I am also Ayaka Nishiwaki, and both my personal life and work are part of me. Nothing is separated. Everything is me. In the future, I want to continue to add more 'good words' that describe me; to be a more mature person, full of love, and able to share more smiles and energy with everyone. This wedding announcement comes shortly after Perfume caused a stir with news of their hiatus starting at the end of 2025. Although it's not clear how long the break will be, the members have promised that they will definitely come back!

A-Chan, who was born and raised in Hiroshima, studied at Actor's School Hiroshima alongside Yuka Kashino (Kashiyuka) and Yuka Kawashima (Kawayuka), who were also early members of Perfume. Ayano Omoto (Nocchi), who later replaced Kawayuka, also turned out to be an alumnus of the same school.

Perfume itself began to form in 1999, although Kawayuka decided to leave before they officially debuted. Thanks to wise advice from her mother, who believed that a trio format would be more impactful than a duo, A-Chan invited Nocchi to join. And boom!
