It turns out that Uti has been complaining about his right ear hurting since last week. After Nycta Gina checked, it turns out that it was crusty and had pus, but when they tried to remove it, they couldn't.
"When I tried to remove it, why couldn't the round end of the earring rotate and loosen? Instead, blood came out and Uti screamed in pain, so I panicked," wrote Nycta Gina.
Because the end of the earring had pierced the skin, Nycta Gina finally took her child to an ENT doctor. The process was quite painful, starting from pulling it out because the end of the earring was quite stuck.
Finally, it came out. Uti had actually been wearing the earring since she was 1 year old. It had never been removed or cleaned, only occasionally. As Uti grew older, Nycta Gina rarely cleaned it.
Which mother wouldn't panic seeing her child go through such pain. When she saw her child's ear infected and pus-filled, Nycta Gina immediately thought of going to the doctor.
