Andre Taulany admitted that he first saw Sule when he was still part of the comedy group SOS. At that time, Andre, who was still a member of Stinky, was invited as a guest star on a television show.
"I knew Sule long before he became famous in 2005, if I'm not mistaken. When I was still a vocalist, there was a comedy show on TV called Komedi Putar and I was a guest star there," recalled Andre Taulany, as quoted from SULE's YouTube channel on Saturday (11/01/2020).
"There was a segment where I saw Sule on stage and I thought, 'Wow, this guy with yellow hair is funny, doesn't look like a comedian, more like a scary rock band member'. So in my mind at that time, Sule was dominating in terms of humor, he was the center of attention," he added.

Just like Andre, it turns out Sule also admired the comedic talent of Erin Taulany's husband. According to Sule, when the television show OVJ (Opera Van Java) was looking for a guest star, he immediately recommended Andre Taulany's name.
"I thought Andre would be suitable, I could see it hahaha. Because I saw you in Komedi Putar and I'm a fan of Stinky, I followed you," said Sule.

When offered to be a guest star on OVJ, Andre Taulany felt confused. Because before that, he had never done comedy in an improvised manner. The last comedy show he participated in was Ngelenong Yuk but all the punchlines were already written in the script.
"I was offered to be a guest star on OVJ, and Sule indirectly trained me. I became funny because of Sule," said Andre Taulany.

After officially becoming a part of the OVJ family, Andre Taulany has his own unique impression of Sule. He felt uncomfortable because Rizky Febian's father always left traces after using the toilet.
"Every time he finishes defecating, when he comes out of the bathroom, it's always me and him who never flush it, so it looks like it's floating there," Andre complained.
"I was just joking, wanted to test who would get angry. Turns out no one got angry, hahaha," Sule replied while laughing.

According to Sule, he and Parto often made Andre the target of their pranks. One thing he remembers the most is when OVJ was doing a roadshow in several cities and they had to fly from Jakarta to Surabaya.
As a test of courage, Andre, Sule, Nunung, Aziz Gagap, and Parto agreed to wear superhero costumes during the flight until landing. "Basically, we couldn't take off the costumes inside the plane, we were testing our courage. But Andre separated, he went to the business class lounge while teasing us in the economy class," said Sule.
"Then I made an agreement with Aziz, Parto, and Nunung to take off the costumes. Finally, we all changed, and when we arrived in Surabaya, he was stunned to see us. Nunung and Parto laughed until tears came out," continued Sule while laughing hysterically.
"I walked from the plane to the gate, people were staring at me because there was no camera, we weren't filming either. Everyone was staring, no one laughed, I couldn't change even if I wanted to," concluded Andre Taulany.
