Abidzar Doesn't Want to Follow in the Footsteps of the Late Ustaz Jeffry Al Buchori: That's People's Expectations

However, Abidzar is quite selective in portraying his roles. He doesn't want to accept offers that require excessive intimate scenes.

"There is a maximum limit. There have been some offers, but there are some that I rejected," said Abidzar when met at CGV FX Sudirman, Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (10/3/2022).

1. Focus on Performing Arts

For the past two years, Abidzar Al Ghifari has been focusing on the world of performing arts. Coincidentally, after taking it seriously, he became engrossed in accepting offers with various character scopes.

"My focus now is on film. Because currently, I am enjoying my time in the acting world. That's why I'm learning a lot first. Satisfy what I want," said the second child of four siblings.

Abidzar Al Ghifari's focus on the acting world certainly evokes reactions from society. Especially those who expect Abi to follow in the footsteps of the late Ustaz Jeffry Al Buchori.

Asked for comments on the matter, Abi said that it was people's expectations. Where he doesn't feel the need to fulfill it.

"If that's people's expectations for me as my dad's successor. I myself feel that my dad cannot be replaced. Even if I or my siblings were to replace him, my dad cannot be replaced," Abidzar firmly stated.

3. Tak Mau Jelekkan Nama Almarhum Uje

Abidzar Al Ghifari revealed that he has a desire to continue his father's footsteps. However, not in the near future when he is not ready. Because his responsibility is great in carrying his parents' name.

"I will continue my father's legacy. But at the moment, I am still continuing in the field of art. Not because I am not confident, but sensitive. Moreover, with a father's name like that, I don't want to tarnish his reputation. Because the responsibility is great," said the younger brother of Adiba Khanza.
