Verrell Bramasta Officially joined as a member of the National Mandate Party (PAN). The decision of former lover Natasha Wilona to enter the world of politics is certainly quite surprising. This is because his career in the entertainment industry is currently on the rise. Verrell explained that there are three reasons underlying his decision to finally enter politics.
"There are three reasons why I decided to venture into politics. Even though lately I have been busy in entertainment, being productive, and working on many projects. But if asked why, there are three reasons to join PAN," said Verrell Bramasta at the PAN office, Warung Buncit, South Jakarta, Thursday (9/2/2023).
Verrell Bramasta reveals that the first reason he wants to enter the world of politics is because he wants to help more people.
"Firstly, in life, there is a goal that makes us achieve something. Personally, from the life experiences I have gone through, I am moved to help and make people happy. Acting in soap operas and others, I want to inspire," he said.
"I am moved when I can help people, I am very generous to my friends, but if I can join politics, the number of people I can reach is wider," he added.
The second reason is the influence of his parents who have already entered the world of politics, which solidifies his decision to join PAN. According to him, since he was young, he has always paid attention to the career paths of both his parents in the world of politics.
"Mamah papah is an inspiring and very inspiring figure. Since I was little, I have seen mom campaigning, helping many people, there is happiness in it, if I can be useful to many people, I see there is priceless happiness," he said.
"When mom comes down, the task of the DPR (People's Consultative Assembly) comes down to becoming the aspirations of the community. It would be nice if the aspirations of millennials and Gen Z could be represented by me," Verrell added.
The third reason, Verrell Bramasta wants to represent the millennial and Gen Z generations who now dominate the population of Indonesia.
"I want to help more people. I chose PAN (National Mandate Party) because it provides opportunities," he said.
"I feel that now millennials and Gen Z dominate around 50-60 percent. So it would be good for me to represent their aspirations," Verrell Bramasta concluded.
