Iko Uwais reported Rudi to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police and is registered with case number LP/B/2895/VI/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya under Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding defamation.
"Our client has filed a report with the Jakarta Metropolitan Police for alleged acts of assault as referred to in Article 351 of the Criminal Code and acts of defamation, as referred to in Article 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code," said Iko Uwais's lawyer, Leonardus Sagala in the Wijaya area of South Jakarta on Tuesday (14/6/2022).

Leonardus Sagala stated that Rudi and his wife had taken violent action against Iko Uwais and defamed him.
"This is a case of violent action committed by Rudi and defamation, allegedly committed by Rudi and his wife. Our client has suffered losses due to these two actions, so our client has decided to exercise his right to defend himself against the actions committed by Rudi and his wife that have harmed him," added Leonardus Sagala.
However, Iko Uwais also continues to offer peace to Rudi and his wife so that this problem can be resolved peacefully.
"Although our client has reported to the Metro Jaya Police, we still open the door to reconciliation because it is much better to make peace than to quarrel with each other. That is also the reason why our client only reported this morning," he concluded.
