Acha Septriasa Willing to Change Hairstyle for the Film 'SUAMI YANG LAIN'

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Acha Septriasa plays Olive in the film SUAMI YANG LAIN, produced by Bawaana Entertainment. As Olive, Acha is willing to change her hairstyle. The 34-year-old actress revealed that she adjusted her hairstyle according to the instructions of director John de Rantau.

"So in this film, I cut my hair short in April this year, it's like a pixie cut or short bob, and that's the director's request," said Acha when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/12).

To portray the character Olivia, a single mother, Acha Septriasa conducted in-depth research. She admitted that she was inspired by foreign films that depict women in fragile and complex relationships.

"We also read film journals or watch French, Japanese, and European films that inspire the character of a fragile woman in a very fragile relationship," said Acha.

2. Boundaries in Intimate Scenes

Acha then shared her experience during the shooting process in Japan and Indonesia. One of the moments Acha shared was when she acted in an intimate scene with Morgan Oey and later with Omar Daniel.

During the scene, Acha emphasized that there were strict boundaries. According to her, only the cameramen and director were present at the location when the scene was shot, without anyone else.

"Of course, there are boundaries, there must be a crew, only the cameramen are there. Even the assistant director is not there. Only the cameramen, director, and actors," said Acha.

The film SUAMI YANG LAIN will be shown in cinemas throughout Indonesia starting on January 4, 2024. In addition to Acha, several famous actors and actresses are involved in this film, such as Morgan Oey, Omar Daniel, Alex Abbad, Samuel Rizal, and Anya Geraldine.
