Actor Fajar Rezky Spends 3 Months at Home Learning to Bake and Prepare for Filming Again

Kapanlagi.com - During the Covid-19 pandemic, handsome actor Fajar Rezky truly followed the government's advice by staying at home. Like many other artists, Fajar also lost some of his jobs due to the spread of this coronavirus.

During about 3 months at home, the Harapan Cinta soap opera actor apparently remained productive. In fact, Fajar was able to find some fun or new hobbies that made his days colorful.

"My activities during this pandemic were mostly busy with exercising, being creative like learning to cook, making food or cakes. That's to fill my days during the pandemic. I reduced my work outside like filming, so as much as possible, my activities were mostly just exercising," said Fajar when contacted on Wednesday (17/6/2020).

1. Back to Shooting

Some areas have started implementing the new normal system. Yes, people are allowed to resume their activities as usual, but with some established health protocols. Fajar plans to resume shooting.

"Start shooting again. There is also a YouTube project for the new normal, shooting indoors. So it's really safe and when we want to shoot, we are checked for health issues, so God willing, it's safe," he continued.

"I think shooting after the pandemic will definitely change, there will be a sense of worry. But I will protect myself more. I will still follow health protocols on my own. Start wearing masks, keep a distance, basically be more aware of myself to always maintain cleanliness and wash hands regularly," explained Fajar.

2. Last Shooting in 2019

Fajar himself misses shooting activities. It is known that the last time he was involved in shooting was in 2019. Previously, he was more often starring in FTV film titles.

"The last time I played FTV was really the last time with a photoshoot. But for soap opera films, no more, it's been a long time since 2013 when I played a film. The soap opera in 2019 was titled Harapan Cinta, and my co-star was Siti Badriah," he said.

3. Migrating to the Capital City to Seek Fortune

Fajar started his career in the entertainment industry since 2010. He was willing to leave his hometown to seek fortune in Jakarta. But because of his skills, Rizky finally managed to get many shooting jobs.

"In the beginning of my entertainment career, I originally came from North Sumatra, migrated in 2010, and then I moved to Jakarta. At the beginning, I accompanied my friend during shooting for FTV programs, and then I was offered shooting jobs. So I had several unsuccessful castings," Fajar recalled.

"At the very beginning, I only played 3 to 4 scenes in FTV. But as time went by, I gained more experience and it was quite good until now. In 2011, shooting was still not that great, and in 2012, I was offered by a film casting director. He saw my profile on social media and offered me to audition for a film. I tried to come and eventually got accepted, and I played in a film titled Misteri Cipularang. That was my first leading role in a film," he concluded.
