Adi, who finally obtained masks at a price of Rp. 550 thousand per box in the South area, said that he bought masks according to the number of family members at home. Adi bought 2 boxes of masks, each containing 50 masks for 6 to 8 people.

"In the end, I bought two boxes, so each box contains 50. So the total is 100, because there are 6-8 people at home," said Adi Nugroho.

2. Prices Soaring

Adi also revealed that the price of masks has been increasing over time based on his experience of queuing at several places. Although the prices offered were unreasonable, Adi Nugroho still insisted on trying to obtain the masks.

"So the price increased by 100 thousand for each queue. I queued first and the price was 350 thousand, then I insisted on queuing and there was one with a price of 550," said the husband of Donita.
