Kapanlagi.com - At the end of June, Max Pictures production house will release a film titled WHY DO YOU LOVE ME. One of the famous actors involved is Adipati Dolken.
Adipati admits to being excited about the release of this film in theaters. The role he played is very challenging, as he portrays a young man named Baskara who suffers from paralyzed nerves.
"I'm so happy that this film can finally be shown in theaters because the process took quite a long time. The shooting was also exciting, which is why it's a film that I've been waiting for," said Adipati quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com, Monday (5/6/2023).
In addition to the unusual role where he had to be in a wheelchair during the scenes, Adipati Dolken also enjoyed working with Jefri Nichol and Onadio Leonardo. His co-stars also portrayed characters with disabilities.
"During this shooting, we were also traveling. The journey was enjoyable because we bonded with other characters and the crew," added Adipati.
WHY DO YOU LOVE ME is a comedy drama film about three disabled youths traveling by land from Jakarta to Surabaya. To realize the concept of a travel film, director Herwin Novianto admitted that it was not an easy task.
"This film was shot in seven cities. The difficulty was because it was still during the pandemic, so we had to obtain shooting location permits. We had to take a break for more than two months to get those permits. And at that time, we only had three days left for shooting," Herwin revealed.
