Aditya Zoni Plans to File a Counterclaim Lawsuit Regarding Custody Rights, Accusing Yasmine Ow of Making it Difficult to Meet His Son

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce lawsuit filed by Yasmine Ow was once again held at the Cibinong Religious Court in West Java on Tuesday (16/7). In this session, both parties were unable to attend and were only represented by their respective legal representatives.

After the second mediation session, Abdullah Emile Oemar, as Aditya Zoni's legal representative, revealed plans to file a counterclaim lawsuit. Rekonvensi itself is the defendant's effort to counter-sue in the same case.

"We have discussed with the Panel of Judges the possibility of filing a counterclaim lawsuit. If it is certain, we will include the counterclaim in the response agenda, so if an agreement is not reached, we will attach the counterclaim," said Abdullah Emile Oemar to the media.

1. Reasons for Filing a Counterclaim

The mediation in the previous hearing ended in a deadlock because Aditya Zoni and Yasmine Ow agreed to divorce. Aditya's choice to file a counterclaim is related to their only child.

"Yes, the problem here is indeed child custody. But there are specific reasons that can be strong grounds for filing a counterclaim. The child is a serious issue for both of them, and that's where the problem lies," explained Abdullah Emile Oemar.

2. Difficulty Communicating with the Child

Furthermore, it was explained that Yasmine Ow made it difficult for Aditya Zoni to meet and communicate with their child. This has been happening since the trial process began.

"There were several instances of difficulty. So, Adit called but the calls were not answered, and he also called the nurse but the calls were not answered either. This has been happening for about three weeks or a month since entering the court, there have been difficulties in meeting," explained Abdullah Emile Oemar.
