Adly Fairuz Sued for Rp 3.65 Billion, Only Admits to Receiving Rp 300 Million

The continuation of the trial regarding the alleged breach of contract involving actor Adly Fairuz was held again at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (15/1/2026). This second session is scheduled to examine the completeness of the documents, which should be followed by mediation if both parties are present.

In the swirl of this case, there is a striking difference in claims regarding the amount of money received by the grandson of Ma'ruf Amin. Adly Fairuz's side reportedly claims to have only received funds amounting to Rp 300 million. This is in stark contrast to the lawsuit by Farly Lumopa, which mentions a fantastic figure of Rp 3.65 billion.

Before the hearing began, Farly Lumopa spoke up to clarify the claim. According to him, the figure of Rp 300 million was never part of the initial agreement. He insisted that in the draft agreement, the amount stated and agreed upon was more than three billion rupiah. "In the negotiations and the drafting before the deed was finalized, there was no statement accepting Rp300 million. In fact, it was acknowledged that the funds received amounted to Rp3 billion 650 million," Farly told the media at the South Jakarta District Court.

Farly explained that the process of signing the agreement was conducted transparently and legally. The deed of agreement was even read out in front of all parties involved, including witnesses, before it was finally signed together.

"The deed was read out and signed by the parties, and there were even witnesses who also signed. If it was indeed only Rp300 million, it should have been clearly stated in the agreement from the beginning," he emphasized.

This lawsuit was finally filed because Farly feels that Adly Fairuz has violated the terms of the agreement that was mutually agreed upon in writing. The unilateral denial regarding the amount of money and the failure to fulfill obligations is a strong basis for Farly to bring this matter to court. "On that basis, we filed a lawsuit for breach of contract, because the agreed-upon agreement has been denied and not implemented," he asserted.

Until now, Farly claims to have not found common ground with the defendant outside of court. Mediation efforts are still possible, but this depends on the good faith of Adly Fairuz to fulfill his obligations according to the initial agreement.

"Before the hearing here, there was no common ground. Because there was no common ground, we filed the lawsuit. We also need legal certainty," Farly concluded the discussion.

It is known that Adly Fairuz is being sued for alleged fraud and breach of contract related to the services for admission to the Police Academy (Akpol). Adly himself has not yet been seen present in court to provide his official statement.
