Renowned designer Ivan Gunawan admits that he is someone who pays a lot of attention to appearance. Not only his daily fashion style, but his face also becomes the main focus for the man affectionately known as Igun.

"Do you guys know, your camera (journalists) is evil if during the interview my face is shown without any edits," said Ivan Gunawan when met at the Art Of Beauty Passion Jewelry x Beauty District event, Plaza Senayan Central Jakarta, Thursday (19/9).
"I don’t want my face to keep appearing on TV looking pockmarked, so I have to regularly go back and forth for treatments," he continued.
In maintaining his facial appearance, Igun believes this is very important for building the right personal branding. Especially since he works in the entertainment world, appearance is certainly very much noticed by the audience.Â
"Beauty and attractiveness are not just for women, because many jobs require personal branding. Everyone should be able to look good, whether in terms of charisma or appearance itself," he said.
Therefore, Ivan Gunawan collaborated and worked together with Beauty District to realize this. He also emphasized that this collaboration is not something new.
"I also want to inform that six representatives from Miss Mega Bintang who will pursue a career abroad are supported by Beauty District, and so far my foundation has also been supported by them," he stated.
For him, skincare is like an investment that needs to be made continuously. Therefore, one must choose the right place to invest in their body.
"When it comes to skincare, you can't just come once; it's like an investment that needs to be continuous. I believe that beauty is a part of art. It's very important to choose the right doctor and clinic so that a person's character is not lost but rather enhanced," he concluded.
