When met in the Cempaka Putih area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (8/3) afternoon, Ashanty explained the reasons why she feels that her understanding of religion is still lacking.
According to her, it happened because no one taught her since she was little. Moreover, Ashanty also mentioned that her parents had separated since she was little.
"Since my father and mother separated when I was little, no one taught me either. I had to figure everything out on my own," said Ashanty when interviewed by KapanLagi.com recently.
That's why, at her current age, especially with plenty of time, Ashanty chooses to attend religious studies to deepen her understanding of religion.
"I always focus on listening to religious studies because my knowledge about religion is lacking, not too deep," said this mother of two.
As many may already know, in recent years, Ashanty has been frequently attending studies by renowned religious scholars.
