Behind her graceful and authoritative image, the wife of actor Anjasmara made a surprising and adorable confession about her experience while shooting with Rio Dewanto for the latest film, KEADILAN (THE VERDICT).

In a candid interview session at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (20/8/2025), Dian Nitami openly admitted that she is a huge fan of Rio Dewanto. The nervous feeling had even approached her since the first time she learned she would be acting alongside her idol.

"When I found out the shooting was with Rio Dewanto, I was like, 'OMG what do I do?'," reminisced Dian Nitami.

Even so, as a professional, she worked hard to stay calm and maintain a cool image in front of Rio. She didn't want her nervousness to be visible to the entire crew on set. "But you can't, you have to stay cool, you have to be fun, you can't look nervous," she continued.

However, the 54-year-old actress couldn't hide her physical reactions. Fortunately, the character of the judge she portrayed required her not to show much emotion, so she could hide her nervousness behind her blank expression.

"Actually, yes, but luckily the story here is emotionless so I can pretend to have a poker face even though my legs are shaking," she honestly revealed.

The peak of her "fangirling" moment happened when she really wanted to take a photo with Rio but was too shy to ask him. It was at that moment that Reza Rahadian came as a savior, making her even more awkward

"Until finally there was this guy next to me (Reza Rahadian) who urged, 'Rio come here for a photo', then I took the photo and I got all flustered," she said while laughing.
