Admitting to Taking Ecstasy 3 Times, Lucinta Luna Denies Ever Using Methamphetamine

Kapanlagi.com - Lucinta Luna does not deny that she has consumed ecstasy. She stated that she has consumed the psychotropic substance, which falls under the category of illegal drugs, three times. However, she claims to have stopped taking ecstasy since November 2019.

"I have taken (ecstasy) three times. The first time was in 2018, the second time was also in 2018, and the last time was in November 2019," said Lucinta Luna in response to the prosecutor's question during the defendant's examination in the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (29/7/2020).

1. Never Used Meth

Having consumed ecstasy in the past, Lucinta Luna admitted that it does not mean she has ever used meth.

"Why did your hair test positive for amphetamines, do you also use meth?" the prosecutor asked. "I don't use that noble meth," Lucinta Luna replied.

2. Suspect of Drug Abuse

As known, Lucinta Luna was arrested in her apartment and designated as a suspect of drug abuse by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit on February 11th. From the arrest, the police confiscated 2 ecstasy pills and 7 riklona pills as evidence. After a hair test, Lucinta Luna tested positive for amphetamines.

In the indictment hearing, Lucinta Luna was charged under Article 112 paragraph (1) or Article 127 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics and Article 60 paragraph (3) or Article 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics.
