After Being Admonished by a Ustaz, Aldi Taher Reveals the Meaning of the Viral Jargon 'Everything Belongs to Allah'

The jargon "everything belongs to Allah" is now closely associated with Aldi Taher. However, this slogan has sparked controversy, leading to Aldi being admonished by a Ustaz. In response, the former husband of Dewi Perssik explained that the phrase serves as a reminder for himself not to be among the arrogant.

Aldi emphasized that everything that happens in his life, both joys and sorrows, is a trust from the Creator. For him, realizing that he owns nothing is the key to remaining calm in facing life's trials.

"Oh yes, thank God, it has been clarified, thank God, because everything belongs to Allah. It is written in the Al-Qur'an that everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. Everything is just a trust," said Aldi Taher when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, Saturday (11/04/2026).

He added that he also uses that slogan to manage his emotions and mental health. When feeling stressed due to work, Aldi always tries to return everything to God.

"I just want to say that if we are tested, for example, there is overthinking, and maybe we are tired from work, we sometimes feel stressed facing work, seeking refuge in Allah, that’s the point. Because the one who tests is Allah, so seek refuge with the one who tests," he explained.

Aldi Taher's skyrocketing popularity through various viral actions has led many to label him as an "S3 Marketing" expert. However, Aldi dismisses this notion and prefers to refer to himself as someone who is simply seeking the blessings of his parents.

"People say Aldi Taher is an S3 marketing expert, no. I am just a foolish person, I don't have any knowledge. Bismillah, I just ask for my mother's blessing, my father's blessing, my wife, and my child. Because I work to earn a living for my child's education," he stated.

Aldi is committed to continue using that motto in his daily life as well as in business matters. He feels that by mentioning the name of Allah, he can avoid arrogance regarding the success he has achieved today.

"If not, if I don't use the words 'everything belongs to Allah', it's arrogance. Like the burger belongs to Allah, that's why I say if Aldi's Burger runs out, buy Burger Bangor, buy Nikis Burger," he concluded.
