After undergoing coaching with KPI, 'Pesbukers' stopped airing since December 9, 2019

Kapanlagi.com - Since around December 9, 2019, the program Pesbukers is no longer seen on television. Not without reason, it turns out that ANTV intentionally did it in response to reprimands from the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) before.

This news was confirmed by KPI through a post on their official Instagram account @kpipusat. It is also known from the post that ANTV had previously undergone coaching activities with KPI.

"ANTV Television Station has stated that it has stopped broadcasting the Pesbukers Program for an indefinite period of time. Information about the termination was received by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) Pusat during the coaching activities with ANTV at the KPI Pusat office, some time ago," wrote the @kpipusat account.

1. Stopped Airing Since December 9, 2020

Normally, Pesbukers airs every day on ANTV from 16:30 to 18:00. Although it is an entertainment program, Pesbukers is often considered to violate the regulations set by KPI and has been reprimanded several times.

"Since December 9 until now, we have not seen Pesbukers on ANTV. This has been noted by our monitoring team," said Mimah Susanti, Coordinator of Broadcast Content at KPI Pusat, to kpi.go.id, on Wednesday (8/1/2020).

2. Reprimanded Because of Elly Sugigi

Pesbukers itself has received many reports from television viewers for airing inappropriate content. Based on these reports, KPI conducted strict monitoring.

One of the reprimands issued by KPI to Pesbukers was in 2018. At that time, one of the hosts, Elly Sugigi, was caught uttering offensive words live and was eventually reprimanded by KPI.
