Agnez Mo Reveals Being Offered to Promote a Song in a Strip Club for Almost Rp 1 Billion

The story goes, Agnez was offered to promote her song in several strip clubs. She even received a tempting amount of money just by doing something very simple.

"Crazily, at that time I was called by the label and management. There were 3 strip clubs in New York that wanted me to come for only 30 minutes. So they said it would be a walkthrough, you just enter, the DJ will play your song and introduce you, you're like hosting, then you leave, you don't even perform on stage. But it's a strip club. And one strip club pays US$ 25 thousand (equivalent to Rp 347 million) in one night, only 30 minutes," recalled the 34-year-old woman.

2. Agnez Mo Firmly Rejects

Agnez is a singer who is genuinely religious and has strong principles within her. Therefore, she firmly rejected the offer without any regrets.

"Do you know the faces of people when I said, 'I'm sorry, I can't do that'? Their faces were like, 'Wait, what?! US$ 75 thousand and you say no?!' Because for them, it's like a job. Again, I'm not judging. That's you, that's your life, but that's not me. That's not who I am. My life is far more meaningful than just my career. I am a woman, I am a mother someday. So when I declined, there wasn't even a thought of, oh, too bad, there was none. I really just said, sorry but I can't," Agnez concluded.
