"Eight months ago, he contacted me. But, it was about asking for a support video for him in the DPR. So, there is absolutely no context to this (copyright case)," said Agnez Mo.

"I actually don’t want to show my cards, oh I'm really sorry Mr. Dhani if I have to speak up here. Honestly, when I heard that, I was a bit disappointed and sad. How could it be turned around like this?" she expressed.

According to her, this difference in perception may have started from her rejection of Ahmad Dhani's request for endorsement for his candidacy. She hopes this polemic can end soon without any party feeling aggrieved.
