Ibnu Jamil & Ririn Ekawati got married with the status of widower and divorcee respectively. In fact, they agreed not to have biological children from this marriage.

This agreement has been made since they were not married yet. "Before getting married, when he (Ibnu Jamil) said he wanted to marry me, I said I didn't want to have children, then he said, I also don't want to," said Ririn Ekawati on one occasion. 

Ibnu Jamil already has one child from his previous marriage with Ade Maya. Ririn Ekawati has two children from each of her marriages with Edwin Abeng & the late Ferry Wijaya. 

"So both of us from the beginning didn't want to have children when we got married. We want to focus on the children we already have," Ririn continued.
