Ahmad Dhani ensures that the wedding reception of his eldest son, Al Ghazali, with Alyssa Daguise will be grand. In fact, this special moment is planned to be broadcast live by one of the private television stations.
"That's why it has to be made for 2 days, one for only 300 people, and the other for many more. The plan is to broadcast it on RCTI," said Dhani when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (30/12/2024).
Although it is his first moment marrying off a child, Dhani admitted that he did not prepare a special gift for Al and Alyssa. However, he is happy to fulfill Al's simple request for Dewa 19 to perform at the event. Â
"No (special gift preparation) at all. Al just asked Dewa to come and play, easy right," said Dhani while smiling. Â
Initially, Al only planned to invite 300 guests to his wedding. However, Dhani deemed that number unrealistic considering many colleagues and family members needed to be present at the happy event. Â
"Oh of course (it will be lively). At first, he only wanted to invite 300 people, I said 'how could it be just 300 people'," said Dhani. Â
When asked about who would accompany him at Al's wedding, Dhani casually made a joke. He admitted he would be accompanied by two important women in his life, Maia Estianty and Mulan Jameela.
"What do you think? Yes, the three of us. Maia on the right, Mamih Mulan on the left," he said while laughing.Â
For the reception concept, especially for the second day, Dhani mentioned that the plan is still under discussion. He and his team are preparing everything to ensure the event goes perfectly.
"We are preparing the event organizer and everything for the second day. There is still nothing, we don't know what the wedding concept will be like," he explained.
