"I myself am confused about being sentenced to 2 years in prison. Because I don't know who I gave hate speech to. Even the Prosecutor dares not mention that it's Ahok's group. This husband of Mulan Jameela then expressed his confusion about the demands read by the Prosecutor. Dhani feels that there is no clarity from the Prosecutor's side regarding the alleged hate speech that he is accused of. It is unclear who it is directed towards.

"So that was only based on SARA (ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations). It was only rhetoric, but there are no details. There was not a single statement from the Prosecutor today," he continued. When attending the trial, the musician wore all black attire and a blangkon (traditional Javanese hat) that covered his head.

"It means abstract. There is a group that is abstract and accused me of giving statements of hatred to this abstract group. Earlier, the prosecutor not only revealed who I made the statement of hatred to, but also to whom," Dhani explained.
