Ahok Reveals the Chronology of Meeting Veronica Tan's Affair: As a Governor, I Beg in Front of Her

The cause of Ahok and Vero's divorce is suspected to be the presence of a third party. However, until now Ahok himself has never spoken about the chronology of the actual events.

Through Daniel Mananta's YouTube channel, the man who has just been blessed with a baby boy finally revealed the twists and turns of his wife's affair. Because he insisted on not wanting to separate, Ahok even met Veronica Tan's affair.

1. Request to Release Veronica Tan

Ahok, as a devout Christian, did not want to simply separate from his wife. He tried to fix his marriage by meeting Veronica Tan's lover accompanied by his eldest son, Niko.

"At that time, I thought it was impossible to divorce. Because I have an understanding that God does not like divorce. I am an Orthodox Christian, no matter how many times we make mistakes, we must forgive each other, that's why I can come to her close friend with my child. As the Governor, I plead in front of her," said Ahok, as quoted from Daniel Mananta Network's Youtube channel (02/07/2020).

2. Not Wanting a Broken Marriage

In his meeting with Veronica Tan's lover, Ahok asked them to end their relationship. He also did not want the issue to be blown out of proportion so that both families could remain intact.

"I said, 'Your wife doesn't know, she's about to give birth and since I'm willing to accept my wife back, can you two break up? It's been years since you've been together and close," Ahok said.

3. Underestimating Ahok

However, unfortunately, the request was ignored by the person in question. When seeing his reaction, Ahok's son became emotional to the point of almost hitting him.

"My first son already said, just break up. I said I couldn't. Unfortunately, this guy is not someone who feels pity for seeing you begging but instead he feels superior," he concluded.
