Aida Saskia Experienced a Crisis of Confidence Due to Hair Loss from Breast Cancer

It is known that Aida Saskia is currently suffering from cancer, and has already undergone chemotherapy three times to target and destroy breast cancer cells. The 36-year-old woman still remembers clearly when she experienced extreme pain during her second chemotherapy session.

"It happened during the second chemotherapy session. The side effects of chemo are extreme nausea, baldness, paralysis, and death. My body started turning black," said Aida Saskia when met in the Petukangan area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/5).

"Thank God I enjoyed it, even though the nausea was extreme. Chemotherapy one two three is a really tough test, thank God I'm still strong," Aida Saskia added.

During her second chemotherapy session, Aida Saskia also experienced a crisis of confidence. This was because her hair was falling out and she eventually decided to cut it all off.

"I didn't want to meet people outside, because I thought they would see me as weird. I reluctantly accepted pity for my condition. But I couldn't just sit still, I have children. As long as I breathe and live, I have to socialize," she said.

Fortunately, when Aida Saskia shared her latest photo with her bald head on her personal social media account, many of her friends and acquaintances supported and prayed for her recovery.

"Finally, I posted the photo on social media. The fear I was worried about didn't happen. Friends and relatives provided exceptional support, which increased my confidence and motivation," she concluded.

As is known, Aida Saskia is currently fighting against stage 3 breast cancer. To date, the 36-year-old woman has undergone chemotherapy three times at Fatmawati General Hospital in South Jakarta.
